About this course:
As a learner, you will be introduced to the key components of equity and inclusion in order to better understand how to strengthen these practices in your professional and personal life. This session aims to support individuals who are new to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work or looking to reinforce their knowledge. We’ll examine the foundational history of this work and unpack unconscious bias through examinations of privilege and power.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Describe the core elements of equity and inclusion
- Explain the importance and impact of implicit bias and privilege
- Access resources and demonstrate strategies for promoting equity
