The Principal and Community School Coordinator: Sharing Leadership in School Transformation
This webinar is intended to present the “nuts and bolts of getting the work done” as a Community School Coordinator within a Whole Child Education framework. Descriptions of the “core competencies, personal attributes and relational aspects” required of this role are based upon the perspectives of a former Community School Coordinator, Principal and Partner. Finally, the transformative outcomes that took place over a fifteen year period convey a new and different leadership paradigm that is integral to the Community School strategy. This leadership paradigm is shared with the goal of informing, inspiring and promoting self-reflection among educational practitioners interested in or currently implementing a Community School.
