Liane Benedict has been an educator for 28 years and currently serves as Staff Development Coordinator at the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation. While teaching, she stepped into teacher leader roles frequently and has always known she would expand her reach in a professional development role. Her work at CiTi allows her to follow her passion as a Mindfulness and Social Emotional Learning Coach and Facilitator for students, teachers, and leaders. She has completed coursework through Mindful Schools and Omega Institute of Holistic Studies in the area of Mindfulness. She was one of 68 educators from across the country who participated in the original cohort of the year-long Transformative Educational Leadership in Mindfulness-Based Social Emotional Learning program and is in a two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher certification training. Liane holds a BS in Elementary Education, an MS in Educational Psychology and a CAS in Educational Administration.
